Fees and Rebates

Psychotherapy appointment, in person at Buderim on the Sunshine Coast or via telehealth video*: $255

Medicare card holders are eligible to receive a $197.90 rebate for each session, so your out-of-pocket investment is $57.10 per session.

All appointments are for one hour unless otherwise arranged.
You do not need a mental health care plan to access your rebate and there is no limit to the number of rebates you can access through the year.
*Due to Medicare regulations, telehealth consultations only attract a rebate if you have seen me face to face within the preceding 12 months.
I am unable to bulk bill, however your gap fees contribute to your Medicare safety net. Once the threshold is reached, 80% of your ongoing out of pocket costs are reimbursed by Medicare.

Cancellations.

Life happens to all of us, so I recognise that at times appointments need to be changed or cancelled. Please let me know about changes as soon as you can. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time, or failure to attend, will incur a cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding. Please note, Medicare does not provide a rebate for appointments not attended.
